Description

Power for the People. Orkney has one of the worst rates of fuel poverty and highest electricity prices in the UK despite an abundance of renewable energy. Orcadian Trows (peerie, peedie or faerie folk) stage a demonstration upon a wind turbine in protest. According to folklore Trows live in howes (cairns) and can fly through the air on simmans (heather rope) and dock leaves.
