Delivery Information
Order processing times
I aim to dispatch all in-stock goods within 2 working days using Royal Mail or ParcelForce. Postage is charged at cost using tracked, insured and signed-for services.
With the exception of original artwork, goods shown in my web store which are not currently in-stock are still available to order and can usually be sent direct to customer from the printer. In that case please allow up to a week for the printer to process your order before dispatching it. I generally use Loxley Colour to fulfill print orders because I have been very happy with the colour accuracy, print quality, and customer service they provide.
Print surfaces can be delicate so photographic prints are sent rolled up in a protective tube while fine art prints and original artwork are generally sent flat-packed and boxed (as appropriate).
Third party retailers
Some goods are sold through third party retailers, for example the Rebel Orkney book which is published by Orkney News Ltd. and available to order from all good bookshops. Please refer to the delivery policy of your chosen retailer.
Service interruptions
If I am on holiday or anticipate a delay in processing orders for any reason, I will place a notice on my website store to indicate this. Should any unexpected delays occur for reasons beyond my control I will contact you via email and do my best to process your order in a timely manner.
Local collection
If you are in Orkney you are welcome to collect any in-stock goods from me in person. Contact me to arrange this. If you enter an Orkney postcode at checkout you will be given the option of local collection at no charge.
Domestic UK shipping costs
Shipping costs are based on size, weight and delivery location. These are calculated and displayed at checkout. Please refer to the following for guidance:
